TLC Community Foundation

The TLC Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing supplemental academic services to at-risk, economically disadvantaged, and first generation college students. We also work as educational advocates providing free and reduced cost tutoring and community education programs. If you would be interested in volunteering your time and talents to help further the goal of educating the community, please feel free to drop by any TLC location to pick up a volunteer info packet.

If you or your organization would like to host a community program, please call our corporate office at (870) 919-0346, and we will be glad to assist you in setting up an event.

Father and Children
Parent Education

Do you ever get tired of feeling like every night is a battle to get homework done? Have you tried to help your student get registered for college, but find the mountains of paperwork intimidating? Are you looking to learn about reading and math activities that you can do with your kids at home to make sure they are school-ready? We have FREE parent education workshops that cover all this and more. If you would like information about hosting a parent education night, give us a call today!

Study Group
Free Practice Tests

We have partnered with the public libraries in Jonesboro and Fayetteville to provide free practice ACT testing using retired ACT exams that have been released to the public. We try, as closely as possible, to simulate actual testing conditions. The team at our office grades the exams and provides feedback along with helpful study tips for the exam.

Kids Reading Book in Park
Kids Books for Arkansas

In partnership with Once Upon a Time bookstore. the TLC Community Foundation works to provide books to students across the state at no cost to the student or family. Research shows that children who grow up in a text rich environment are better readers and lifelong learners. If you would like to help raise funds to buy books or would like to serve as a book distribution site, we are always looking for new partners for this program.
